Are you a programmer? a web designer or a web developer? And you want to have a start-up?

Many people in the industry today want the same objective as you. Building the idea of a start-up is the easiest to do but the main problem is in the developing stage.

In business, start-up is an example of a buzzword. According to Wikipedia, Buzzword is a word or phrase used to impress, or an expression which is fashionable. Buzzwords often originate in jargon, According to Mr. Bryan Bibat, buzzwords are words that are overused and has been redefined its meaning. The meaning of a start-up nowadays is a instant business wherein if you have a unique and solid idea you will become the next Mark Zuckerberg and earn a million money right away. And that’s not going to happen.

Seminars and company used the “start-up” to persuade people to make their own business which is a good objective, but people misunderstand it and don’t realize how hard it is.

Mr. Bibat said that it is not enough that you have the solid and unique idea of a start-up. You must also have a solid knowledge, team, and scale to develop your idea to become a product.

He also said that if you want to build a start-up just for a money and fame, you will definitely not get it. But if you want to have a start-up to solve a particular problem, experience and expand your knowledge and network somehow it will work. He also added that start-up will somehow work if it is good for the public.

Let’s look at it in reality that business is a hardest thing to do. Don’t look at it like people who build a start-up and say “Ok, this is my start-up where is my money” because definitely it will not work.

Buzzwords are used by the business guys to talk to other business guys and most people is just parroting what these guys are saying. For example, an engineer said to a forum that a new programming language is the best language ever that can beat the other language. And you are just a random PHP, Java, or Developer and absorb what the engineer said. Let these guys do their work, and look it in a fundamental manner.

Don’t just go with the flow with the trends, ignore the buzzwords, be independent and try it with yourself. Explore new things to discover new knowledge. Don’t be a parrot on what you hear or see.
