This morning we have been given an opportunity to attend a talk/orientation on the new Product version of Acronis, Acronis is a Data backup software and disaster recovery solutions that has been around way back 2002. It started as a home based solution Backup & recovery tool and has captured consumers because of its friendly user interface.

So to get us started we need to know why backing up files is important, i’ll enumerate some basic examples:

One of the main feature of Acronis is their snapshot technology, where the system will take a picture of your whole system for that current time and will give you an option to restore that state in the future. They Also support virtual machine backups, which i think is a plus, considering that many uses it. Backing up files is mainly divided into two parts Hot & Cold Backup. Hot is online backing up and cold is offline, the other category is the warm Backup wherein the OS is running, one example of this backup is during morning backups where users are not usually working. Replication is also highlighted in the talk, five destinations of backup will be readily available depending on the settings. Acronis is known to have a Set & Forget features for its ease of use which really appeal to its users, that Set & Forget features is one of the foundations that makes Acronis stay in the business for almost ten years. Famitsu revealed the withdrawn of Sony’s PlayStation in its hometown however Sony plans to continue to mount the video gaming console world. Expect to see PS2 for sale at its best. This device is known for a massive gaming library nearly 11,000 games and still thrive in many countries like Brazil, Russia, India and China.

PS2 started hit the scene in 2000 and spear-headed the new era of home entertainment with its high-quality 3D gaming and built-in DVD player.  This device went to achieve 155.1 million sales and earned the title of the most popular video game console of all time.

According to a report at Android Central, the original Droid Razr and Droid Razr Maxx is now starting to receive their over-the-air update to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

Many users are complaining in the Andoid Central forums that their update fails to complete to install on first try.

To check if you’ve got the update, go to Settings, About Phone, and then System Update.

Motorola promise to update their phones more frequently and there is no clue yet on whether the original Razr or Razr Maxx will see Android 4.2.

LG is presenting the GA7900, a 55-inch, 47-inch, and the GA6400, 60-inch down to 42-inch.

These TV’s have the remote control with QWERTY features plus a motion sensor with an integrated mic for “natural” voice commands. Reflexive Cinema 3D will also be part of both models.

The GA7900 features an edge-lit LED with local dimming and a 240Hz refresh rate while the GA6400 includes a lower 120Hz refresh.

Honeycomb 3.2 is the latest version of Google TV that enables users to use tablet and smartphone apps on their TV.
